A Warm Welcome

As an educator and a mother myself, I fully understand how important it is to find a caring, loving, nurturing nursery for your child that also provides the highest quality education. Having worked in the childcare profession for over 10 years, I hold many qualifications in early years; including a masters degree in special education and have had extensive training in early years education as well as ABA therapy. 

Along with our staff, I am excited about both the challenges and rewards of being a critical part of your child’s future, and we are looking forward to working with all the parents on establishing positive relationships. Trust, respect, and understanding are vital parts of these relationships; when parents and caregivers are on the same page, everyone benefits – especially the children. I am a strong proponent of an open-door policy and invite each and every parent to come talk to me about their desires for their children.

Today I am proud and happy to be able to offer parents access to this unique place. More than a home away from home, Tinky’s Day Nursery is a place where your child’s ‘Future Begins Here’.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is that children’s early years are the most important years of their lives. Therefore, here at Tinky’s Day Nursery we strive to provide high quality childcare and education for all children that is appropriate to their individual needs. This is provided for in a positive, respectful, relaxed and homely environment, by highly qualified adults sensitive to the individual needs of the child and their family.

Embed within our ethos is a strong emphasis on ‘going green’ by ensuring that we recycle, reuse and reduce the amount of waste we create. Educating the children of today is crucial in order to influence the way future generations live.
